THE NEXT CORNERSTONE HAS BEEN LAID
VEMAG ANLAGENBAU is expanding at their HQ in Verden.
In order to be able to continue to meet the increasing demand for high-quality systems for the thermal treatment of foodstuffs worldwide in the future, VEMAG ANLAGENBAU has invested in the expansion of the production, assembly and logistics areas at its HQ in Verden.
On a site area of approx. 25,000 m², three new hall sections with a total area of approx. 6,000 m² are being built with an investment volume of € 5.5 million. In this context, additional modern production and storage systems are being purchased to increase production capacities and increase efficiency in order processing.
The groundbreaking ceremony took place on September 26th, 2019. The completion is expected in June 2020, the corresponding construction work has been running since August. With this construction project, the installation manufacturer from Verden is continuing its successful, international path of growth and enables central logistics and administration at the location in Verden.
Just like during the construction of the company headquarters in 2016, a casket with contemporary evidence was concreted into the foundation of the building. Stowed away in it is a current issue of the Verdener Aller newspaper, the construction plans and an euro coin.
At the ceremonial laying of the foundation stone, in addition to the Krüger family, as owners of VEMAG ANLAGENBAU GmbH and the responsible construction company, Mayor Lutz Brockmann and the Verden business promoter Mr. Fortmann were also present.
